Dash had serious problems when he joined us. Apart from wanting to burn the home down because he hated rules, he also did not want to return to his own home. He believed in the romance of living as a tough guy roaming the street.

Today, Dash wants to be a police officer, or an artist. His mind has opened to new possibilities. His appetite to learn and improve has awakened, Hope has also entered his dreams.

The money from MCAN has given us hope to educate and groom him to become someone who may someday be successful, and return to us to give back to others at SHELTER.
